Roaring Creek Falls of Burnsville NC

ROARING CREEK FALLS, Burnsville NC
Hey ya'll. It's me again. Wanted to share with you about our third field trip with the homeschool group this year.  We went hiking to a beautiful waterfall.  The name of the fall is Roaring Creek, and was it ever roaring. Such a beautiful place, very calming. The kids had a blast hiking, talking, and finding neat plants, bugs, and creepy crawlies. The hike was only .5 miles from the entrance to the trail.  We didn't go all the way to the top of the trail head because we had children with us, wanted to keep everyone safe.  There was a pool of water where the kids could play, and they did, plus a area that was safe where they could slide off the rock like a water slide. So worth the hike and trip.  Here are some pictures.
