Spring is here.

Well Spring has finally sprung so to speak. Just last week we had what they call a "Blackberry Winter".  That is where it snows and the blackberry vines are already a blooming. Yes it's May around here, but we had snow in the higher counties or area's around where I live.  I enjoy spring. Love to get my hands dirty in the new earth that is broken open for planting. Just today I planted six tomato plants (Early Girl's) and six pepper plants (Cayenne).  We already have leaf lettuce, radishes, and carrots growing together, along with potatoes, peas, onion, and cabbage. We will have squash, corn, bean and more tomato's to plant at a later date. As I said spring is one of my favorite times, just because I get to plant. Through the summer we have it hard with all the work it takes to care for our garden, but wait till the rewards start coming in at harvest.  Nothing like eating fresh food from the garden. Also the rewards of preparing it up to last through the winter. God has been good to us over the last few years in the gardening area. We have had plenty and plenty to share. Here's to HAPPY PLANTING!!!

On another note: Please continue to pray for us on purchasing a home. I know God is going to bless us when the time is right. Prayer and the faith of a mustard seed is what it takes. God says if we ask and we believe what we ask of him, he will grant it to us. That is what we are doing praying in faith and believing in what we are asking, and knowing he will come through.

Blessings to you all.
